Hydrocarbon Investment Brings Zero Waste, Coal Reformation, Thousands of Jobs, and Long-Term Economic Growth to West Virginia

MASON COUNTY, W.VaJan. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Frontieras North America has officially closed on 183 acres of riverfront property in Mason County, West Virginia, where it will build its flagship $850 million FASForm™ facility, marking a major step forward in the company’s plan to commercialize the world’s leading coal reformation technology.

The site will be the first commercial-scale deployment of FASForm™, a patented clean hydrocarbon process that transforms coal into fuels, fertilizers, and industrial carbon products—with zero waste and no emissions. The project is expected to create more than 2,000 construction jobs and over 200 full-time positions in Mason County and surrounding areas.
